Note from Christy: The pictures have broccoli instead of peppers. I used a 12oz bag of frozen broccoli cuts for the picky people. I thought it was great with the broccoli, but I’m anxious to try it with peppers, too.

My mom has the neatest ideas. I just love these denim placemats! The pockets for the silverware… genius! They’re all different but still in sets which makes them that much more interesting.

And I thought her denim storage boxes were amazing!

Another fantastic and creative way to put old jeans to use. I can’t wait to see what she does next! Actually, still have several of Mom’s projects to post. It has been difficult to space them out instead of posting them all at once.

I’ve tried several banana bread recipes in the bread machine, but this is the first one that cooked all the way through while still having enough banana taste to call it banana bread. My hubby loves bananas, so I was excited when I finally found a recipe that worked for me. However, he’s not fond of nuts so the picture is the just banana version of the recipe. I’ve never tried it with nuts.

Now I’m looking for a pumpkin bread recipe that cooks through. The last one I tried was a disaster. Ugh!

I don’t care for chewy pralines and these turned out perfect. Now I just need to find a recipe for divinity that isn’t chewy. If anyone has one, please please please send it my way. I remember loving divinity as a kid, but it wasn’t chewy. The chewy divinity just isn’t the same.

My mother’s recipe calls for half and half instead of milk. Sounds even creamier so I’m planning on trying it with half and half next time.

I can’t wait to make these again!

We love alfredo, so I was super excited when I ran across this recipe. So much easier and faster! I love not having to boil the pasta separate and heat up the house even more during the summer months.

This recipe isn’t quite as rich as the old way I used to make alfredo, but it’s rich enough. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the old way. I’m excited to try it with crab and see how it turns out.

Who could resist chocolate and strawberries? Try dipping half of the cookie into the glaze like a chocolate strawberry.

This recipe can be easily modified for other flavored cake mixes. Imagine replacing the strawberry cake mix with red velvet, caramel, banana supreme, orangesicle or any of your favorite cake mixes.

I’m thinking about trying a spice cake mix next with white chocolate glaze. What do you think?

This recipe is almost identical to Cherry Cordial Cookies with only a slight variation in the glaze. I liked cherry so much I decided to try strawberry!
